  1. Motivation in the workplace is one of the biggest challenges managers and directors face. One might be there for a personal interest while others have different factors that motivate them. To understand how to motivate employees, you need to learn about motivation and the theories associated with the concept.

    Develop a 7 to 12-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation in which you include the following:

    • An overview of the concept of motivation
    • An explanation of two of the theories of motivation discussed in the texts (coordinate with your peer team so you DO NOT present the same theories).
    • How the theories could be applied in a criminal justice setting; provide at least two examples and relate it to the motivational theories you are presenting.

    Include at least one scholarly source located by each team member.

    Format your presentation consistent with APA guidelines (in-text citations, reference slide, & introduction & conclusion slides). Use clear bullet points as you will be providing a detailed discussion of your slides in class.
