I like how well put together the section on The Snowden Saga is at the bottom of this story. Maybe use that as well. 

Assess the significance of mass media and the direct affect that it has had on changing the security and public safety working environments (in context of this story).

How I would like it written is first paragraph is a good summary of the story, and the rest is the assessment of what i have in bold above this.
