Reflect on the selection process in your fire department for entry-level firefighters. Do you believe it is challenging enough and requires enough specialized knowledge and skills and/or qualifications to hire the most qualified candidates? Explain your rationale, and suggest at least one way to improve the process from your perspective. If you are not currently attached to a fire department, you will need to do basic research or interviewing to cultivate the information on which you can then base your opinion. Your journal entry must be at least 200 words in length. No references or citations are necessary.
