United States Geological Survey (USGS) states that the average American uses 80-100 gallons of water per day. In this assignment, you will calculate your daily water consumption using two different water use calculators and report your findings. Water usage vary on a weekday and a weekend-day as well as seasonally. To make comparisons easy, calculate an average usage for a weekday in February. In addition, exclude anyone else such as your family members or roommates from the calculation. Calculator 1 – Southwest Florida Water Management District Calculator 2 – CSGNetwork Using the data and any additional research, create a report. The report must be typed, 1.5 spaced, and 12-point font with 1.0” margins. Generate a minimum of two table and two graph using Microsoft Excel or an equivalent program and imbed them into the word document with a caption for each. It has no minimum page requirement but it must include the following: ? Title, name, and date ? Introduction – Identify the issue/problem to be considered critically. ? Discussion -Discuss your findings and consistency/discrepancy of the values between two different websites. -Discuss assumptions being made in the calculation. ? Tables – Be sure to include the unit of measurements ? Graphs – Create appropriate types of graphs ? Conclusion – It should be logical and reflect your work. ?
