The purpose of this assignment is to help you understand the socialization of alcohol use in our society. Please answer the following questions:

How and where are alcohol products advertised, and what images are linked to alcohol use (e.g., beer commercials during televised sporting events)?
How is drinking alcohol viewed differently from smoking cigarettes or using other drugs? In what ways do these differences affect the social acceptability of alcohol use?
