In 3.6, practice with problems 1 – 41, 43, 50

In 3.7 read pages 171 – 173, paying attention to the discussion on pages 171 and Examples 1 and 2.

In 3.7, practice problems 1 – 30, 31, 32, 34

In 3.9, read all of 3.9. Practice problems 1 -11

Please read 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3

4.1: Read the entire section. Pay attention to Example 6 and try problems 46 & 47.

But don’t ignore Example 1.

4.2: All of the examples in this section are important.

4.3: Read Example 4. Problems 7 – 10. However, all the problems in this section should be completed for practice.
