A Christian belief is that if one believes in heaven they will be better behaved and that everyone rises after death. By this everyone has a immortal soul which lives forever and one day of the coming of god the body and soul will resurrect on judgement day. This day of judgement will decide where the soul will go for all eternity. The Catholic church encourages what is referred to the Golden Rule or the Ten Commandments (Taylor, 2015).

The Catholic church belief is that there is more to life than just living and dying. They believe there is a life after death and that some will be rewarded and some not in some form after death. They. believe is that individuals either go to one of three places, heaven which is a place of paradise, hell which is a place of horror and purgatory which where souls go to after death to repent or a type of cleansing of their soul. They believe Jesus died on the cross and resurrected so therefore we must resurrects as well. They believe the soul is immortal and that the resurrection helps gives purpose and meaning to life on earth. Upon Judgement day, they will go to heaven if they lived a good life here on earth. If they do not live by the scriptures god has set forth and live in sin they will not go to heaven (06clared, 2010).

Death is not always an end for some cultures death may be a time of transition which is like the lifetime of man. It is a part of life, a time of transition such as religion was as well a part of life which was joined with the culture. A culture which did not focus on what happens on earth depends on where we go after we die but focus was more on the now and trying to balance life. It was not time well spent if focused on dying and what comes next or punishment and rewards (Ojibwa, 2014).
