FIRST ARTICLE YOU RESPOND TO.. U.S. News, staff writer shared a story in relations to the mismatch between education and marketable skills that needs to be addressed to empower the workforce of tomorrow. As technology continues to expand towards artificial intelligence and automation, the skill set to meet the demands are not there. The workforce is not in alignment with the jobs of the future, as labor jobs are being downsized for automation to take over in some fields. Where are the employees to help man the machinery behind artificial intelligence? The challenges companies are facing shows how necessary it is for changes in how society needs to move forward with this issue. The remedy to this mismatch begins with collaboration between educational institutions and the private sector (Hansen, 2019).

One of the biggest worries at the time was that if one could begin to selectively modify their children and essentially design them.
