CMET438 Colorado State University Comment Letters to GASB Paper
In the video entitled, GASB: 2018 Look Ahead (Links to an external site.) the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) highlights the three areas of focus for the standard setters in 2018. Those areas include the financial reporting model, revenue and expense recognition, and note disclosures. As part of its standard-setting process, GASB issues an Invitation to Comment (ITC) to allow interested parties that might be impacted by the changes to provide feedback to the board for consideration before finalizing the standard under review.
