Other information: Winter drew his share of critics from those people who hate being subjected to sub-frozen temperatures from late October until March. He was best known for his frosty winds, frozen precipitation and gray cloudy days. Perhaps he was best known for wanting to have the last word in the argument with Mother Nature and Global Warning. He was often spotted sneaking back into Spring and shouting at the top of his lungs, “And another thing” as he waved his arms and blew out frosty air once again. Old Man Winter simply had to have the last word every time.

Unfortunately this year, Winter hung on a wee bit too long. Last snow flakes spotted this year on April 16.
