contemporary social movement (between 2000-2019), and how media reporting compromised the integrity of the movements. Your task as a Communication student is to intervene between media reporting and the movement, and to offer a critique of the persuasiveness of media.

-Find media report talks about the movement negatively/ Show how miss representing the movement in any newspaper or media report.

Format:
- The submission will be written in Times New Roman, 12 pt. font, and double spaced, and follow APA format.
- Your opening paragraph will include the social movement, and discuss its importance in contemporary culture.
- The following paragraph will directly quote from the movement’s leadership: what is it about? who are the leaders? what are the end-goals of the movement?
- Following the direct quotation, you will intervene as a Communication student to explain the significance of their objectives.
- For example: Berlusconi was already well known for Law 189/2002, the so-called Bossi/Fini law of 2001 that tightened regulations on foreign residents. This legislation made a standing job offer a requirement of the ‘entry for employment’ category, and abolished permits for employment-seeking migrants, thus linking the residence permit to the working contract and increasing the number of cases in which expulsion was
- The example explains a law, and the bold text highlights the consequences/significance of the same law.
- Your subsequent paragraphs will then quote any newspaper (online or print) reporting on the movement.
- You will then compare the reporting to the movement’s objectives.
- You are encouraged to conduct an encode-decode analysis of the reporting, but without explicitly stating the positions.
- Restrict yourself to one theme per paragraph.
- Your concluding paragraph will summarize your paper, and then end with your reflections on the persuasiveness of media.
