Printmaking Methods Paper I. (20 points)

Write thorough, clear, and precise descriptions of the four main printmaking methods described in chapter 8 of the text. Label each method and clearly separate them. Select one example of a work of art for each of the methods from the chapter.

Include the figure number, page number, artist’s name, and title of the artwork with each example.

Explain why your selections are good examples of the printmaking methods. Include all of the following four printmaking methods in your essay:

1. Relief

2. Intaglio

3. Lithography

4. Stencil
